Outlook
Guinness Nigeria Plc expects to continue to benefit from its strong brand portfolio across Nigeria, e.g. Guinness, Malta Guinness and Orijin. With Nigerians being the second largest consumer of Guinness stout, we expect the company to continue to grow at the top line.
However, rising operating costs remain a concern, and this will depend on the Company’s ability to pass on higher input costs to consumers without affecting volumes. i.e. is demand for the brand inelastic enough to fence off a margin squeeze?
